Alona Selska is a professional makeup artist with over 20 years of experience working in Ukraine, across Europe, and now in the United States. She began her career in national television in 2005 and quickly became a sought-after artist for large productions, including prime-time shows such as Dancing with the Stars, X-Factor, Sing Like a Star, as well as numerous live broadcasts and documentary projects. Over the years, she has also worked on music videos, commercial campaigns, and runway shows, including Ukraine Fashion Week.

Throughout her career, Alona has worked with a wide range of high-profile clients – recording artists, actors, TV personalities, and other public figures. Her editorial work has appeared in leading magazines including Pink, Marie Claire, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, and Men’s Health. Today she is also a PRO member of The Powder Group (TPG), a respected professional makeup community in the United States.

Now based in San Francisco, Alona focuses on three main directions: wedding makeup, special-occasion looks, and beauty for photoshoots and personal branding. Her brides are known for looking refined, fresh, and confident rather than overdone. She is obsessively attentive to detail – from skin prep and color harmony to how the makeup will read in natural light and on camera – which is why her bridal clients often say they feel like the most beautiful version of themselves.

Beyond weddings, Alona loves collaborating with photographers, stylists, and artists on creative shoots, constantly experimenting and refining her techniques.
